I'm not sure if you know, but Silva starts training camp at around 200 lbs and usually is around 200 in between fights. He cuts weight to get down to fight at 185 during his pre-fight training. He won't have 20 extra lbs of muscle on him in this fight.
I would like to see Irvin win but I'm not sure about it. They both have great striking and also have other skills (remember Irvin's flying knee to Terry Martin?). |
Yeah I hear you,but you also have to consider That Irvin walks around at about 220. He also slims down before the weigh-ins. I'm rather sure that Silva isn't going to take this win easily. Irwin is a good test for him for his first light-heavyweight fight.

Saw the fight. All I can say is DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUM! Anderson Silva is to MMA what the brazilians are to soccer. Smooth dominant and nice ... just awesome to watch.

This fight went exactly as I figured it would. Irvin didn't stand a chance. Silva's Muay Thai is so crisp. Man did you see the size of the cut under Irvins Eye.
