this will be muay thai battle of the century, and it wont be easy for silva. think about it, the only real times that irvin lost are when he got outwrestled, except for the mike kyle KO but irvin is a very skilled striker. anderson cant wrestle so i expect him to stand and bang
Irvin has everything to gain and nothing to lose anderson has everything to lose and nothing to gain really lol anyway it should make for a good fight if James comes out smart and tactical hes got a chance of ko'ing silva but he'll have to go after him first round so far it seems to be silva's weakest round and yet he kills so many ppl in the first lol
Lol have you guys ever even seen an Anderson Silva fight? His striking is unrivaled, precise and devastating. Irvin has great knockout power, but he is outclassed here. I can't imagine what silva is going to do to him with 20 pounds of extra muscle.
I think silva's gunna take it to the ground at some point, his jitz is really fuckin good. And considering the quality of Irvin's striking, and how weak he is on the ground. I'm hoping its a muay thai fight the whole time but i'm not gunna get my hopes up.

can we get the introductions/staredowns and the in between round instructions in the corners? I personally like to hear what the corners are saying to the fighters.
This is gonna be one of the best fights of the year. They both have a good chance of winning because anything can happen in a fight. "Expect the unexpected." Im going for Silva on this one.

I'm not sure if you know, but Silva starts training camp at around 200 lbs and usually is around 200 in between fights. He cuts weight to get down to fight at 185 during his pre-fight training. He won't have 20 extra lbs of muscle on him in this fight.
I would like to see Irvin win but I'm not sure about it. They both have great striking and also have other skills (remember Irvin's flying knee to Terry Martin?).
