Actually Fedor has a worse blemish on his record than this one, although it's still not a real loss. He has a recorded loss to Tsuyoshi Kohsaka during a tournament-pyramid style match. I have the video, but I just joined today and don't really know much about how to post it here. Anyways, TK hit him with an illegal elbow, opened up a cut on Fedor's face, and the judges decided to call it a loss for Fedor instead of a DQ for TK, just so that the only one able to still fight could continue to the next round. (Fedor rematched TK a few years later and beat the living crap out of him, made him look all puffy like Shamrock after his first loss to Tito) Nice post though, I've always liked this fight.
