True, Vera dropped, but I think he beats Silvia 9 out of ten times. I'm not saying he is the number one contender, but he will be before long. I just think his ground game would make an interesting fight with Fedor's Sambo. Anything could happen. You're right Kimbo and Lesnar aren't even close to contender spots, but they are two key HW fighters in this sport right now and have unlimited potential. Kimbo still needs alot of ground work, and Lesnar just needs to become familiar with more Jiujitsu defense. He's a wrestler, and a damn good one at that. Wrestlers always have trouble with BJJ until they learn to be calm on their backs. A good wrestler has all the key ingredients to be good at BJJ. I don't think the transition will take him long. His striking, (as little as there was) looked quick and powerful. I can't wait to see some more from him in stand-up and groundwork. I truly believe Mir got lucky and pulled that knee bar out of his ass.

Whats goin On Here?
I Dont see how Randy should get his shot soon i'd love Fedor to lose to Arlovski then randy would be fuck'd and could have a possible Rematch with Barnett which could make for a even more entertaining fight then the Fedor Emielianenko Vs Randy Couture but that wont happen but what i do suggest is
Fedor Vs Arlovski = Fedor Unanimous Decision
Couture Vs Barnett = Couture Majority/TKO-IN 3rd
Winners........
Couture Vs Fedor = Fedor Decision/Submission
Arlovski Vs Barnett = Arlovski KO

1stly i dont think Kimbo is gonna make mainstream success i mean sure he might knock a few unheard of kats out and maybe beat another old big name someday (abbott, Ray Mercer) how bout actually puttin him in there with another big monster like

I never said that Brock or Kimbo were contenders. I just see alot of potential in both of them.Kimbo is new to MMA. For a stand-up fighter, the transition to MMA is more difficult if you've never had to fight on the ground. Kimbo has an outstanding will to learn and the drive to win. Give him some time, I think he'll do well in this sport. Brock is a natural fighter. His wrestling is gonna carry him far in this. His stand-up looked good briefly against Mir.
As for Arlovski and Fedor, I don't think Arlovski will last two rounds with Fedor. Barnett is tough, but as someone pointed out, he has a weak chin and very little speed. I'm sticking to it. The only fighter out of all of them mentioned here that could possibly beat Fedor is Randy.

I suppose Brock beating Heath Herring was a fluke? Herring knocked Nogiuera stupid with a head kick and would have finished him if he stayed on him. I'm guessing Lesnar would dominate Nogiuera as well.
