Shamrock is the original MMA self promoter and he's very good at it. He's signed multi million dollar fight deals, guest commentates, has a personal asset company, has a franchise of schools, and earns loads from merchandising. He makes videos like these, and does stunts like this to get fans like us talking. Its all hype.

Frank is f'ing retarded to say that White should fight. That doesn't even make sense. BUT! He has a gangsta point that UFC exploits its fighters. It does. But that's how the shit works too. Liddell wasn't making any money fighting before he blew up in the UFC. A lot of these people wouldn't make any money fighting in general - maybe a couple hundred per fight. Even if bottom rung-ers are only making $10k a fight, that's still more than "local venues."

if you think a "6 figure contract" is a big deal to athletes, you honestly need to wake up and realize athletes who are serious about making money are in the 7 figures...
ufc picks up the people who cant make more money elsewhere and then exploits them and makes them into ufc stars to make the ufc money.
as far as frank shamrock being a fag, well its obvious hes married, but besides that, i dont really care for the guy much either way....
but you have to give the guy credit, hes an amazing fighter and can take some serious punishment. in that one fight he fought for over 2 rounds when he knew his arm was broken, he just refused to quit.

Elite XC and UFC are rival promotions, so of course hes going to talk about Dana White, who is the face of the UFC. Rivalry sells seats, gets a buzz going. Dana smack talks every one whos not UFC, like Fedor, Gary Shaw etc, so he gets it back. Its a big game, which generates lots of cash for both fighters and promoters, THATS why they do it. Shamrock beat Baroni easily, KO'd a gracie in about 20 seconds, and dominated his weight division in the UFC, being one of the first truly rounded fighters. Dont hate him for doing something with his life, man up and congratulate him.
Franks only lost once to Cung Le who is the best middleweight outside the ufc if not in the ufc too aside from hendo and silva but yeh he didnt get beaten easily.
