a real fighter like fedor wouldve only needed like 1 or 2 to do the same job

Correct. For a guy of that size (6'6") one or two shots should've knocked Don out cold. Sure, Don's a tough dude, but for f*ck's sake, that was lame. And so is matching him up with Kimbo. Give him some real opposition. He's no spring chicken and at this rate of progress he'll be a 100 years old before they line him up with a REAL fighter. But that would stop the cash-cow circus, wouldn't it... Pathetic.

Im gonna be there at the prudential center. When Thompson is laying in the center of the cage, pretending to be unconscious, after Kimbo violently beats him like a caged animal who has been starved for 3 days. After May 31st, I will have been at the most watched live MMA event in MMA history.

The smallest dude Kimbo ever fought was 240lbs, the shortest 5"11 (300lbs), but yeah he did fight some SHWs. A majority of his street opponents lasted longer going bareknuckle with him than his pro fights have lasted so far. People don't watch Kimbo because he's the #1 fighter in the world, your missing the point. Most people will agree he has yet to prove he can compete against the elite. But, one thing his fans can count on is that his fights will be in an exciting and brutal fashion thats guaranteed to leave one fighter flat on their stomach bleeding out of their face. When you watch Kimbo, you know someone's getting knocked the FUCK out!
And I officially gave him credibility when Bas took him under his wing.

yes kimbo is famous and popular but how has he the right to be the main event? is it about the sport or about the show. and thompson too!!! he is 2-6 out of his last 8 fights. the thing is that these guy's didn't do anything for the sport of mma. and now they are the main event in a big show. other fighters with good or great records do not get a main event fight. so it's all about the show and that's poor for mma. i am not saying that these guy's aren't allowed to fight but not the main event. a guy like lawler who is 7-1 out of his last 8 fights is not the main event. the carreer of kimbo is not the usual one and if you get in such a short time a main event fight it gives a wrong picture of the sport of mma. i think that kimbo should climb the ladder pound for pound as every other fighter has to.

he is 6-0 and huge for a HW. he is fighting jon murphy tonight on the same card and he beat james thompson pretty bad on the last eliteXC. i think it would make more sense for kimbo to fight brett so he can really prove himself
