mark my words on this one, guys. james thompson is young and im not his biggest fan, but once he learns how to roll with a punch, hes going to be awesome. the holes in his game are small but his trainers wil make him into a solid fighter. hes had his ass kicked even in the fights hes won, and his character is strong and hes evolving. MARK MY WORDS, HES GONNA SURPRISE US ALL SOME DAY!

Kimbo was handed this match on a silver plate. He would have won no matter what, as long as he didn't get knocked out. Make MMA as a sport look like shit, but on the other hand make UFC, WEC and such look that much better than before
Last night I was watching the new Inside MMA and Dan Margliotti said some things about the fight. He said he would have stopped it at the end of the 2nd if Thompson was doing more damage with the points of his elbows instead of his forearms. Kimbo was also talking to Big Dan while he was getting beat and let him know that he was OK. Also Kimbo gave Dan the thumbs up kinda like he did when he was "tapping" from the guillotine. Big Dan also talked about the stoppage. He said he saw JT's eyes go blank in between the 4 unanswered haymakers Kimbo landed at the end. He said he got in there at the right time when JT was semi-conscious stumbling with his hands down. If JT's hands were in a more protective state, perhaps the fight would not have been stopped there.
If you get HDNet watch Inside MMA. Its a legit source of MMA info and Bas is (as always) a hilarious nut.

How is his cardio suspect them dudes went thru a war especially at heavyweight!! I think he is and will continue to work on his ground game!! So SMH at you not being a fan because of one fight!! So if he on his next fight get a submission or a knockout are you going to hop on the bandwagon again!!
