Serious or not the statement is laughable. I don't recall saying Kimbo is nothing in MMA. I will say he is not in Fedors league.

Well for one, Kimbo isn't all that good. Right now, at least. Nobody starts off godly. Even Fedor and A. Silva were at that level at one point (they were probably 13, but still). I just figure he should have a chance. 15 years ago MMA was mostly a bunch of no talent street fighters who were there to beat the shit out of everybody. There was none of the sportsmanship, technique or respect that there is today. But alot of great fighters and good people struggled to make MMA a respectable sport. And if Kimbo Slice is truly trying to turn himself into a real fighter, that effort should be respected. Yeah, the fighters they are putting him up against right now are lower teir. But when/if his skill increases he may just be fighting upper teir fighters. I seriously doubt it. Martial Arts aren't really something you can just jump into in your mid 30s... But, I'm just saying his efforts, if genuine, should be respected. Him as a person, maybe or maybe not, but self-improvement is the ultimate virtue.

Ya they might not start off being really good but im just sick of idiots talking about how kimbo is the best fighter they have ever seen, and that kimbo is the best. I remember watching his street fights and people telling me that.... The bottom line kimbo still sucks he he is at a very low lvl professional and they just use him for advertisement because of his street fights.
