After the Hamil fight Bisbing was talking shit about Hamil going back to being a wrestler. Bisbing may have won the fight but he didn't win by enough to talk crap so I hope Liben tears him a new one.
Bisping was on the run the whole fight (emphasis on RUN), when he did throw punches they were straight and quick with nothing on them so he could get the fuck away from Hamil because he was feeling the pain. He looked like he was trying to survive and Hamil looked like he was trying to kick his ass. Leben will need a KO to win this fight.

Well, I had a feeling going in that Bisping would pick up the win, but I had no idea Leben would do that well. He fucking took everything Bisping had to dish out and didn't even blink. Granted, he got cut and a little bruised, but I don't think there was any way Bisping could have finished Chris off in that fight. I mean, shit, he fucking put his hands down, stuck his jaw out and dared Bisping to hit him at the end of the fight...that's hardcore. Chris had ZERO respect for Bisping's striking. But I guess it goes to show that power, aggression and absurd toughness can be beaten by speed, footwork and effective countering. Not exactly the ending I was expecting, but a damn entertaining fight none the less.
I have to agree with V2, I thought it would be Bisping by decision originally.... but by the end of this fight I was thinking the decision would go to Leben. Had no idea he would do this well, he was very aggressive and seems to have improved quite a bit. I guess the judges scored it right though, from the looks Leben's face at the end of the fight vs. the looks of Bisping's face. I still think he should have lost the decision vs Hamill though.

I'm fucking pissed, I hate when leban gets into that mindset of attack and then fucking bisping out boxes him. Everytrhing leban did was so damn predictable except for the leg kicks. and then he has no fucking head movement whatsoever. leban needs to rethink his style of fighting, I think hes been exposed since the silva fight, next time he ought to try let the fight come to him and set that big punch up by mixing it up a little, this sport is about evolving its always been about evolvling since the days of joyce
I'm thinking Bisping will win with an unanimous decision. I don't think he can KO leben, but I think he's overall more technical and will outstrike leben or power him out on the ground.
I'm a bit disapointed by both fighters though, they both played it too safe.
Oh and by the way, wtf is up with that huge "MMAHACKS" covering half the screen throughout the whole video?! Most fucking annoying thing ever, whoever thought it would be a great idea needs to be shot.
I watched it last night and you know honestly it was very close I even thought that Leben could have won it, I need to watch it again more attentively but Bisping looked hurt quite a few times, staggering back and looking dazed on quite a few occasions. I do think that somethign fishy is going on with some of these Britain fights, Dana really wants to expand there and it would really hurt him to have his no. 1 British fighter loose in his own hometown. Call me paranoid but I think that Joe Rogan and the other guy were a little too extra praising of Bisping, almost as if they were trying to justify his win, Bisping did not look dominating to me. I don't even like Leben, but that's just my 5 cents.

You know, I noticed that halfway through the fight too... as if they knew the decision was gonna go to Bisping regardless of how well Leben did or not... He really did not look as dominating in the ring as they were talking about during the fight... but either way, Leben's face still told the story at the end of the fight, looks like he got cracked with a few of those straight punches he was talking so much shit about before the fight. Definitely not impressed w/ Bispings "Run Away" style though... he says it's counter punching, but we've all seen counter punchers, and they don't all run away the entire fight... he looked more like Kalib Starnes vs Nate Quarry in this and the Hamill fight.
What the heck was that??? Terrible fight. Leben is still trying to find a new style and it's not working... go back to being a brawler, at least it's exciting. And Bisping had an AWESOME game plan... WTF?!?!?! did anyone pay attention to the post fight interview? His GAME PLAN was to stick and move and "GET A UNANIMOUS DECISION" who the frig wants to see that? Absolutely horrible... Bisping is a pretty good fighter, but I'm pretty sure people don't tune in to a UFC MAIN EVENT to watch someone run around the cage and actually LOOK to get a decision out of a fight... pathetic. He lacks killer instinct... not good for MMA. I'm glad that was free. If I had paid to watch that, I would have sent a letter to Zuffa requesting my money back and that Bisping be put on suspension until he can come into the cage looking for a fight.
And on a side note... hopefully Cote can last longer than 1:00 minute against the deadliest man under 206lbs
I've got no problem with someone fighting a tactical bout, and being able to time a big bomber with good counter punches gets you victories (Evans timed Liddell perfectly in their fight and turned him off) but that decision was ridiculous. 30-27 on two of the scorecards is insane - Leben was never rocked, never in serious trouble, pushed the action and had Bisping on his heels with strikes on more than one occasion ... even scored a sweet takedown in the 3rd round. Yes, Leben's face was marked up but that's a different outcome if the fight's on U.S. soil.
And Virus and MMA_Addicted, you're both right on the announcing. Goldberg and Rogan were nattering on about Leben having to "pull something out" when I was watching a very close MMA bout. They tend to do that when they're calling a fight with one of the UFC's Golden Boys ... their analysis of the Bisping/Hamill fight was laughable, and their call of Rampage/Griffin was comical in their partisanship for Forrest. I still say Rampage won that fight outright.
Bisping won the first 2 rounds and the 3rd was close.
To say Bisping doesn't have a killer instinct is ludicrous. Watch back through his fghts and once he has someone hurt - there are few better at finishing, he is ruthless.
His tactics for this fight were spot on. The only way he could lose to Leben was if he stood and traded. Personally i found the fight very entertaining, and to suggest that it was fixed is just what you said it was - Paranoia!

Well deserved for Bisping, it was a good fight to me...Bisping did what he needed to do and won. Leben ate all those straight punches that he was talking about...he did not get KO'ed by those straight punches but his face got wrecked by them.
