i kinda look at these two as just meat for the grinder...

boetsch went for that takedown and hung on to that leg while hammil pounded the crap out of him, look real weird that he didn't do much for his position.

hammil doesn't quite convince me either to be honest.

I say give it another year and Dana will have Bisbing and Hammil in the cage again. It'll be a big payday for UFC. People luv controversy and they even hyped it during Hammils fight. They are prepariing for it already.I predict Hammil to win the next one.

As for the fight at hand. Boetsch was tossed into this fight at last minute as he was for his PPV fight. Without much preperation . But here he was in a altitude where his stamina ran out on him and youth prevailed. I think he had the knock out power to drop Hammil just not the legs to last it out. His wrestling skills werent as good as Hammils but still was good enuff to keep him from getting submited. Redo this match at a regular altitude and give Boetsch more time to prep and i think he will kick Matts ass.

Hammils lip looked nasty after the fight. That'll be a few nice stitches.

Grats to Hammil none the less.

This was a great fight! i loved it. i had been looking for a good stand up fight ina while. Hamill gots some real skill.

Boetsch would have won had he had the same amount of prep time as Hammil. It is clear to me that he gassed and was winning the fight otherwise.

yha tim Boetsch , out classed hamil all the way until he ran out of gas (of cause not on the grund, but hamil has nothing on the grund than laying on top of people, he has no grund ´n pund what so ever, we saw that in the bisbing fight too...!!), i think
we will see more of Boetsch in the future... im def a fan, now and was since the first fight i the ufc anainst Heat where he won a great fight and showed some skills, not champion skills but, who knows whit the right traning and luck he ll be right up there
