Having seen what he'd seen Herb had to stop the fight and despite the initial reactions of the crowd, I think after the replays most drew the same conclusion.
Had he not stepped in, Mir would have kept on pulling and if Silvia's attempt at a slam failed it's likely he would have suffered a career ending injury.
